Discover 600 year of university history in two exhibitions

The exhibitions 'Routes to Knowledge' and 'The Pursuit of Knowledge' look back at the history of 600 years of Leuven University. Discover the stories, objects and people who have been pushing boundaries - and continuing to surprise the world - for six centuries.

Two exhibitions feature photographs by Karin Borghouts. A series of photographs of corridors and staircases she has walked through in the buildings of KU Leuven is being displayed in the University Library. For each of the five rooms at M Leuven, Borghouts created a new image depicting either the storage area for the university's collections or the Alamire sound lab.
