Karin Borghouts is a Belgian visual artist and photographer. Her work explores architecture, interiors, landscapes, still lifes, and people in relation to place. Situated between documentary photography and visual art, her images are marked by a strong sense of composition and a subtle dialogue with painting.
Her work is held in major public and private collections and has been widely exhibited in Belgium and abroad. Alongside her own projects, she works on commissions for museums, cultural and heritage organisations, architects, publishers, and public institutions.
Most works are available as limited-edition archival pigment prints with a signed certificate of authenticity.
