  • On 12 December 2025, Karin Borghouts received the Culture Award from the municipality of Kalmthout Belgium, where she lives. The Culture Awards Cultuurprijzen were presented on the evening of 12 December 2025 at the Kerktheater Heide, and the event was excellently organised by Cultuur Kalmthout.

    Karin Borghouts won the Culture Prize in the category “Special Achievement” for her artistic career as a photographer.
