Karin Borghouts has photographed the living rooms of families from different ethnic backgrounds living in Brussels. ‘Living’ offers the visitor an exclusive look into the houses’ interior. ‘Living’ is an exhibition and a book commissioned by Initia - bureau for artistic and cultural initiatives in collaboration with Jan Knops (Initia) and Kristel Adriaens (Yota!). Large format analogue camera, C-prints pasted on aluminium. The exhibition Living was on view in De Markten, Vlaams Gemeenschapscentrum, Brussels BE, 19/1 - 19/2/2006.
