Gemeentehuis Kalmthout

2026

Kalmthout’s new town hall, which opened its doors with great fanfare in May 2026, combines a historic 19th-century building with a modern new development to form a single, sustainable and centrally located service centre.
The architectural concept was devised by ectv architects, whilst LAND Landscape Architects designed the redevelopment of the outdoor environment. The municipality sought to bring together fragmented services – such as the municipal administration, the OCMW and the local service centre De Groten Uitleg – at a single central location on Kerkeneind.
